Some other examples,

    1.“能” means “can” or “allow”，for example，
    “我生病了，不能去上班了。”
    “我能在这吸烟吗？这里不能吸烟。”
    2.“不了bù liǎo” means “can not”，for example，
    “我忘不了哪姑娘说的话。”
    “我生病了，上不了班了”
    3.“不了bù le” means “no”，for example，
    A: 一起去吃饭吧！
    B:不了，我还有事。
    4.“记不得” means “can’t remember” but normally people use “不记得”，for example，
    “你不记得我了吗？”
    “我不记得我来过这里。”
    5.“找不到” means “can‘t find”，for example，
    “我找不到我的钥匙了。”
    “她去哪了？我找不到她”
