I shot two SexyMandarin lessons today.

My call time was 6AM!

Waking up early is fun when you are with with friends.

Penny & Tiffany were in both lessons today with me.  Can’t wait to show you guys.

I am a Samsung user so I got Jay Z’s latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail for free!

It is perfect for working out and I keep singing Justin Timberlake’s part in the title track.

Not sure if there will be a wide production run yet, but I am proud of it.

I had lunch with Vanessa before our SexyMandarin shoot today.   One of the small pleasures of working on set is catered meals.  I love to cook but it is nice not to have to worry about it when I am memorizing lines and gearing up to work.  Being able to focus completely on your craft lets me grow and push to new levels of confidence.  When you see the episode of SexyMandarin with “the cake”(you’ll know it when you see it), know I wrote this blog post before I did that.

Liya & I love watching the Office.  One of us may or may not have a HUGE crush on Steve Carell.  We always hear the people in the office joking about the Office show, so Liya and I translated some of our favorite Steve Carrell Office quotes.  You can read the article here, but I will give you a preview!

Episode: “Frame Toby” – Season 5

Michael: I tried, I tried. I tried to talk to Toby and be his friend but that is like trying to be friends with an evil snail. I feel like I’m dying inside. I feel like Neve Campbell in Scream II. She thinks she can go off to college and be happy and then the murderer comes back and starts killing off all of her friends. I learned a lot of lessons from that movie, this is just one of them.

Michael: 我试了又试。我试图说服Toby和他的朋友，但这就像是邪恶循环。我觉得我会死在这里面。我感觉像Scream II中的 Neve Campbell。她认为她可以开心地去上大学，然后凶手回来，并开始杀害她所有朋友。从那部电影中我学到了很多，这只是其中之一。

Well I had few people message me about my Halloween post yesterday.  Seems like people celebrate the holiday in many different way…. Haha

Today I have off.  I was invited to the beach but instead I will be watching the Matrix 2.  I love the ghost twins and the car scene at the end.  My favorite movie is the Matrix 1 but I have watched it too much lately.

Fright Night

I’m not planning on being in Cebu this October, but I learned Halloween is much different than I thought.  Everyone spends the night in the graveyard.  It makes sense, seeing how much spanish influence there is here.  It sounds a bit like the day of the dead.  How do you celebrate Halloween?

I worked on this photo shoot with Liya.I was thankful to have the chance to have some solid input into some of the photos.  Liya insisted on the Chess background and I decided it would be a natural extension to make it a royal outfit.  Or at least a version of.  Dragon decided on the colors.

Farewell Dinner

We said goodbye to our good friend Mike last night.

He is flying back to Hong Kong on business for a while.

He has helped me personally a lot.

Anytime I have an issue, Mike has been able to fix it.

He helps make the studios in Cebu feel like home.
